The cult black comedy Trainspotting made in 1996 is about the drug scene in Edinburgh. The main characheters take a day trip out to the country by rail. Corour Station on Rannoch Moor is where they end up. Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlye & Robert Lee Miller a star cast who all have expressed an interest to return in the sequel.

Well Trainspotting 2 was made and it was amazing. Indeed the cast and crew came back to film at the same spot in Corrour.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is where you see the Hogwarts Express cross over the Glenfinnan viaduct. You can take the train from Rannoch to Fort William then onto Mallaig going over the bridge. Make it a special trip on the Jacobite Steam Train and go in style.
